Cluster strategies in Maine

An advisory panel in Maine is recommending that the state follow through with a recent Brookings report and fund a cluster strategy more aggressively. Read more.

Governor Baldacci established the Council on Jobs, Innovation and the Economy late last year to develop an action plan for moving the state forward on the innovation-focused and cluster development.

The group is also scheduled to develop specific recommendations for a research and development bond.
