Maine's deal for college graduates

We will see more states following Maine's policy of providing help with college loans in exchange for a promise from the student to stay in state.

The governor recently signed legislation that provides up to $2,100 in tax credits to help students. Interestingly, the program started out as a ballot initiative by college students. The legislature, seeing the opportunity, jumped in front of the parade. Read more.
