New marketing alliance in Eastern Tennessee

A ten county region in Eastern Tennessee has come together with an economic development marketing alliance. As one participant explained, "[The] purpose is to eliminate any duplication of efforts and establish a global marketing strategy."

The proposed budget is $1 million a year, with 70% coming from the private sector and 30% from local governments. Read more.
