North Carolina launches first mini-hub

North Carolina has launched its first mini-hub, a multi-county technology park designed to move development into the rural areas surrounding Research Triangle Park. The mini-hub serves as a magnet to draw business to the region through the combined efforts of the five counties. Read more.

Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments received a 2004 Innovation Award from the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) for the idea. Read more.
