South Carolina's career pathways

The South Carolina legislature has taken a strong step in improving career pathways for kids. The Education and Economic Development Act will require students starting in the 10th grade in to choose a career focus.

This is an important step in improving outcomes from our high schools. Developing career pathways is an appropriate strategy for addressing the challenges of 75% of high school graduates will not go on to four years of college.
