In Mason City, Iowa, a community college has launched a new business accelerator, targeted toward businesses that embrace creativity, innovation and growth.
Representatives from the accelerator will visit to up to a hundred companies in northern Iowa. They will be looking for opportunities to help these companies create new products and increase productivity. The key to success will be connecting these young companies with experienced mentors.
