New Orleans: Rebuilding Sunday, September 04, 2005 Commentators are already weighing in on the rebuilding of New Orleans. In a bonehead move, the House Speaker suggested that the federal government should not spend the money (even as people were dying in the streets of the city). He later back-tracked. Two reporters from the Chicago Tribune have outlined the most detailed report on rebuilding the city: Rebuilding expected to be grueling, complex, controversial.
