The governor's race in Iowa will be focusing on the state's controversion Values Fund, according to this report from the state. The initiative represents a major component of the out-going Democrat Governor Tom Vilsack's economic development strategy. But both GOP candidates for next year's election oppose the initiative.
A recent report from the Iowa Economic Development Board shows that companies revceiving funding from the Values Fund have much more to do to reach job targets. Read more.
