If you are going to the effort of producing a news release, make sure that you have news in the release. By sending out No News Releases, you undermine the credibility of your organization.
Eventually, the press will not pay attention to you, even if you have news.

Some Background on EDPro Weblog
The purpose of this weblog is to help economic development professionals -- EDPros -- keep up with the changes sweeping our profession. Strap on your goggles. It's a whole new game. One other point: the prevaling approach (paradigm, if you like) in economic development is shifting from competition to collaboration.
