Successful regional economic development changes the conversations taking place in a region. In regions that are drifting or declining, conversations tend to be stuck on the past.
In regions moving ahead, conversations quickly shift to the next opportunity: clean technologies, creative industries, new collaborations.
You can quickly judge the direction of a region, simply by listening closely to the civic conversations taking place. Astute EDPros figure out ways to guide and manage these conversations.
