Growing Vermont’s Next Generation Workforce

Vermont has issued a next generation workforce report. It provides a good model for other states and regions to follow.

The report outlines some of the challenges facing the state as it tries to develop connections between its younger workers and the state's employers. Read more.

The report includes some useful approaches. For example, the authors surveyed nearly 3,000 Vermont college alumni. They found that half of those who left the state did so for a job.
