New innovation alliance in Terre Haute

In a promising development in west central Indiana, a new innovation alliance is forming with Indiana State University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and Terre Haute Economic Development Corporation at the center of the partnership. Read more.

Three companies are already engaged in the Alliance and are receiving support. One of the major benefits for a start-up company will be access to low cost and talented students from ISU and Rose Hulman.

A task force comprised of leaders from each of the Innovation Alliance partners selected the nitial companies. Selection criteria include the company’s alignment with state and local economic development initiatives, ability to meet strategic educational initiatives, and opportunity for successful commercialization. The Alliance expects to have up to five companies engaged with the Alliance at any given time.
