South Carolina has been making some major investments to promote hydrogen as an alternative fuel. Here's an update. Read more.
The move toward hydrogen underscores another important shift underway in the state. Sourh Carolina has been pushing education and business development investments. Traditional recruitment strategies, while still important, are now seen from a broader perspective. More important, civic leaders increasingly understand that recruiting branch plants will not build a path to a prosperous future.
