Education in economics

A new report makes an important point: economic instruction is weak across the country. This weakness has profound implications, as we move into a more turbulent economic environment in the years ahead.

We should be concerned on at least two levels. We are not teaching the fundamentals of personal financial management. On another level, we need to accelerate entrepreneurship in our communities and regions across all income levels. Basic economic education is fundamental.
