In moving to and economy more focused on innovation, many regions face the challenge of improving collaboration among colleges and universities.
Like many organizations built in our industrial age, colleges and universities -- and the departments within them -- do not collaborate routinely across organizational lines. This lack of collaborations slows innovation.
