The governor of Texas has launched his state's bioenergy plan. Among the initiatives: a $5 million Texas Emerging Technology grant to Texas A&M University to help recruit commercially-focused faculty to market innovative research for the next generation of biofuels.
In addition, the University of Houston announced that it would be housing the Texas Bioproducts Industry Council. Read more.
