Building a life science future in Western Michigan

Western Michigan is looking at a future in the life sciences, and a recent report from Taimerica is sparking debate about the strategy.

Launched in January, the research project focuses on defining the region's strengths and determining the investment hurdles to be competitive. The research report does a good job setting markers -- managing expectations -- of what the region must do to become competitive in the life sciences.
