Here is an interesting profile of the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. (CCAT). The Center has become an umbrella organization for a number of technology related initiatives in the state. Read more.

Founded in 2002, CCAT operated initially under a federal grant to develop a national center that addresses both military and civilian industrial needs. CCAT now facilitates collaborations in key technology areas, such as lasers, nanotechnology, gas turbine engines, fuel cells and power systems.
