In the fall, we will be launching a business plan competition among high school students in the fourteen counties of North Central Indiana.
For years, civic leaders in Indiana have pointed to a "culture" did not embrace risk as one reason for Indiana's relatively sluggish performance. One of the lessons of this Entrepreneurship Academy: You change the culture by changing the conversation.

Some Background on EDPro Weblog

One other point: the prevaling approach (paradigm, if you like) in economic development is shifting from competition to collaboration.
