A new national partnership of foundations has launched a five-year, $50 million initiative and workforce development.
The goal of the National Fund for Workforce Solutions is the place 50,000 workers in better jobs, leverage 200 million in local fines, and help 1000 companies recruit and train employees. Read more.

The purpose of this weblog is to help economic development professionals -- EDPros -- keep up with the changes sweeping our profession. Strap on your goggles. It's a whole new game.
